Eco Home Builders was founded in 2004 by Miguel Ramirez, a third-generation carpenter who grew up working on job sites throughout San Diego County. What started as a two-person remodeling crew in Mission Hills has grown into a full-service general contracting company serving homeowners from Chula Vista to Escondido. Over 20 years, we have completed more than 99 residential projects and earned a 4.8-star rating on Google through straightforward pricing and consistent delivery.

We specialize in kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, room additions, and complete home construction for San Diego homeowners who want a contractor they can trust with their biggest investment. Every project is managed by a licensed superintendent, permitted through the correct jurisdiction, and closed out with a complete inspection record. We do not flip projects to unknown subcontractors. Licensed general contractor with over 28 years of hands-on construction experience in San Diego. Miguel leads all permit coordination and final inspections for every project.

Laura Torres

Project Manager

Laura manages client communication, scheduling, and supplier coordination across all active jobs. She has overseen more than 60 residential projects since joining the company in 2011.

James Cortez

Lead Superintendent

James runs daily site operations, coordinates trade sequencing, and ensures that every Eco Home Builders job site meets city inspection requirements before any phase closes.
